A day trip to Regensburg.

I will take you today to south Germany, by the bank of Danube river. A city well preserved since the 16th Century, recently named a UNESCO world heritage site. Typical European, with a huge cathedral downtown and colorful buildings around it.

Yet, i will not speak of history and buildings today, rather, i will take you around with my Camera.

Dom - The name of the cathedral, standing tall, almost seen from every corner of the city
Our tour train, was so much fun!
Downtown, Style+Color, also super clean!

The most famous attraction in the city, The medieval Regensburg Stone Bridge.

Houses by the river.

Footbridge across the river Danube, with locks of local lovers on the sides.
Close up view, lovers inscribe their names on locks, Neat symbol in my opinion!

The Real house of Kepler, the famous Astronomer, now a museum,  too bad it was closed that day.

A statue honoring Don Juan of Austria in the heart of the town. Old lady was standing there saying ... Oh..don khwan! :)
The Danube river museum on a lower deck of a local ship. i killed 1 hour there before my train.
A nice 3D metallic map of the city.

A small local shop selling garden ornaments, it was eye-catching.

A view from the city hall, where i spent a 1H tour, yet i chose this pic instead of the torture rooms pics in the basement.
One of the nice buildings along Maximilian street walk.
Park Hotel, a local old prestigious hotel.

Certainly a nice city. Almost all local jobs are Tourism related. Cheap one as well compared to other cities in Bavaria. I hope u enjoyed the pics.
